1. Why did you start Angellecraft?
I've been sewing for over 15 years, making my own garb for faires. I began making costumes for friends and family members several years ago, and am always stopped at faires and asked "Where did you buy that?" More often than not, the answer was, "I made it." People have been disappointed not to be able to buy something similar to what I was wearing. Many friends wear the garb I've made for them to faire, and they are also being stopped and asked where they bought their stuff. So -- I decided to make my designs available to others.
2. What clothing do you offer?
I offer custom-designed garb for men and women (and Rogues and Wenches!). Each outfit is one-of-a-kind, and does not come from an 'inventory' -- each is made specifically for you. Items include shirts, blouses, chemises, skirts, medieval and renaissance gowns, bloomers, pirate pants, puffy pants, slops, vests, jerkins, doublets, and I'm working on some neat middle-eastern inspired ideas. Let me know what YOU want, and we'll work together to make it so.
3. Is your garb ready-made?
No. I make garb to each person's specifications and measurements. You are not shaped the same as anyone else -- why should your garb be generic?
4. I know what I want. How do I order? What happens next?
Begin by emailing me with what item you want, and what color/fabric types you are interested in. I will get specific measurements from you and confirm the fabric selection. Then -- off I go to make your custom garb and get it to you!
5. What forms of payment do you take?
Credit cards via Paypal (small additional fee applies); money order; well-concealed cash. I will take a personal check if absolutely necessary, but I will delay starting your order until the check has cleared. If your check bounces, I WILL hold you responsible for any fees that I incur.
6. How long will it take to get my order?
That depends on a number of factors, including time of the year and my schedule. At the moment, I anticipate being able to fulfill orders within 2-4 weeks, if not sooner. I will of course keep you apprised of any anticipated delays.
